Why Klingenberg?

I tried to get to use my name, Bodvar, for my postings, but that one was already taken. As my ancestor was Mr. Klingenberg, I tried to use that and it was available even though there are a lot of people by that name, especially in Germany. This my ancestor, Hans Klingenberg, came to Iceland in the 18th century from Denmark. His origins in Denmark are rather uncertain, but at least his knowing certain important people at the royal court saved him from time in jail. His father (adopted or stepfather?) was probably a wheat merchant that came from Germany and settled in Odense, where the ruins of his mill have been escavated in the middle of town.
